Error while installing sql server 2005 express in Windows 7

Question

When i install SQL server 2005 express in a Windows 7 PC i got following error

For more inforrmation , could you post the contents of the log file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Files\SQLSetup0010_PC53_Support.log ?

Hello,

This seems an issue related to .NET Framework. Please make sure .NET Framework 3.5 is enabled on Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn on/off features. If it is already enabled, please repair it using the following post:

Hello,

The issue is due to corruption in .NET framework.

Please follow the steps:

1. Uninstall .Net frame work 2 with sp1
2. Install .Net frame work 2 redistributed package
