Hi ,
in this article : (Reporting Services Tutorial) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms166599%28v=SQL.100%29.aspx ,
it's needed to select AdventureWorks2008 as underlying database ,
I've already downloaded AdventureWorks2008R2_RTM.exe from Codeplex and installed it , but I can't find AdventureWorks2008 in the list of installed databases (although AdventureWorksDW2008 and some others are installed but there is no AdventureWorks2008 ! )
Should i install any other file instead of AdventureWorks2008R2_RTM.exe ???
Please help me ASAP :(
Thanks

The .exe that you ran displays the databases to be installed and allows you to select the databases. So, perhaps you didn't select AdventureWorks2008, or perhaps it wasn't available for selection because you do not have the right prerequisites in place to run that database. Both AdventureWorks2008 and AdventureWorks2008R2 require that you have full-text installed and filestream enabled. See Database Prerequisites for steps to take before installing the databases.
If you have met the prerequistes, you can run the .exe again and it should list the appropriate databases. Alternatively, you can run the AdventureWorks2008 installation program directly from here: http://msftdbprodsamples.codeplex.com/releases/view/37109 Note that the same prerequisites must be met for this installation package to succeed.

Hello,
I uploaded AdventureWorks databases for 2012, 2008R2 and 2008. Each download zip file contains an mdf database file and ldf log file. This consolidates AdventureWorks databases for several SQL Server versions to one page. Please let me know what you think.
