Hi-
Is there a backup version of AdventureWorks2008R2(OLTP) available anywhere to download and restore? This FileStream feature is a killer.
I'm trying to installing it on a VM over a trial version of Sql Server 2008 R2(which installed beautifully).
I followed all the instructions/tips/tricks before trying to install the OLTP version of AdventureWorksR2, but it sort of freezes. it installs the other two(DW and LT version like a charm).
MSSqlServer service account is "LocalSystem".
Windows Login account has Administrator rights.
OS is Windows XP with the latest Service Pack.
All the OS and Sql srver patches are installed.
the AV software is disabled for this process.
Please hep!
Thanks,
Ramin

Hi,
try to download version for Denali from codeplex and attach it. I think it's the same as for SQL 2008 R2 and you can skip that installer

Hi Ramin,
I am going to post just a MDF file for the AdventureWorks2008R2 OLTP database that does not contain the filestream property. You should be able to download that file and attach it to your instance of SQL Server 2008 R2.
I should have it posted to Codeplex by the end of this week. I'll follow up with this thread when the file is available.

Gail
