I'm creating an SSRS report that has an XML data source which has the following connection string http://qa.monitoringmethods.org/ReportData.aspx (using no credentials as none are required/needed).
If I access that URL using Internet Explorer, I see lots of data returned in the window. When I first started developing the report, I was getting data successfully returned from the web service. Something must have changed, because all of the sudden, I started receiving the following error message:
Error Code: 407 Proxy Authentication Required. The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied.
Any ideas what went wrong? I'm trying to put together a held desk request and I want to supply them with as much info as possible, but outside of this error message, I don't know what to say.

The issue is actually related to the proxy setting, I think. You can open an IE window, and open its Internet Properties, switch to Connection tab, and check LAN settings. If a proxy server is configured, I think you need to check with your network team (specially, the ISA team) for further verification.
Because http://qa.monitoringmethods.org/ReportData.aspx is an public URL, and the access request to the datasource will be forward to proxy server (ISA server), and the proxy server will obtain the data on behalf of you computer. If the ISA server requires user to be authenticated before accessing the Internet URL, the message will occur.
Hope the information above explains the error message. If you have any question, please ask.
