SQL 2005 BI Tools and Report model dsv missing tool after sql 2012 install

Question

I had a working version of sql 2005 bi studio where i could create models and reports and all that.

After installing sql server 2012 i can no longer view a data source view from a report model for ssrs2005 in bi for 2005 tools

Is there a fix ?

Please try reinstalling SQL 2005.

In your case, could you please post the specific version of Reporting Services 2005 to us? I suggest you that install the latest Service Pack for SQL Server 2005 to see if this help. Here is an article about “How to obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2005”, please see:
