I am getting the below error while trying to deploy Sql Server 2008 Reporting Services reports.
Error 1 The report definition is not valid. Details: The report definition has an invalid target namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sqlserver/reporting/2009/01/reportdefinition' which cannot be upgraded.
I have 2 instances of SQL Server running.
a) MSSQLSERVER2008
b) MSSQLSERVER2005
How do i resolve this issue? -

Hi,
I had this similar error..
I had two instances
a) MSSQLSERVER2008
b) mssql2008R2both were in interated mode. Because i had installed SQL2008R2(whose instance is mssq2008R2) as this is an updated version, I was geeting this error. So I configured(in congiguration manager) my mssql2008R2 instance and pointed it to the sharepoint site that I was previously reffereing and every thing went fine. I was able to deploy my report.
Best Regards,
Azhar
