I have a List object that contains several subreports and one tablix. I know that subreport properties are ignored in the main report, but it appears that the tablix properties are also ignored when embedded inside a List. Is this correct behaviiour?

eg. I have given the tablix a PageName ("detals") and the List a PageName of ("Bob") for the purpose of testing. Every page shows "Bob", which means I cannot use the PageName for visibility in the header. While in preview, the PageNumber resets correctly to 1 on each group, when it renders to PDF the page numbering reverts to the oveerall page number.

    Hi Gary,

I have tested it on my environment, I set a page break for the tablix inside a list, and preview report and there a page breaks between each instance of a group. This means that the tablix properties are not ignored by the list.

In your scenario, the PageName also display “Bob” in the header. As per my understanding, if there have the same properties for tablix and list, and you set both of them, then it will display the settings of the list. So if you want to display the group name of the tablix in header, please clear the settings of list.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
