ssrs 2008 subscriptions

Question

Hi all

it seems that when we set up a subscription to email a report in either excel or word format, it does not get sent. no errors that i can see in the log file. The same report works sending it pdf or csv.

 I have set up the subscription correctly, as it does work if i tell it to send a csv or pdf. the problem is it will not send it as excel,word or tiff.

any ideas?

Hi Dino,

Currently, it is hard to verify the cause of the issue. In your case, please post more information to us for further investigation.
   • Have you try to export the repot into Word, Excel or TIFF format?
   • Is it a large report and within some specific report item?
   • Have you encountered this issue with other report?
   • Post the description in the “Status” column in the “My Subscriptions page” or a “Subscriptions” tab at Report Manager.
