SSRS 2005 Dropping rows in matrix report
-
Tuesday, November 20, 2012 7:57 PMThis is not about dropping rows with no values for columns, just dropping rows arbitrarily. I have one column group and one row group and where there is a duplicate value for the first two columns in two succeeding rows, the second row gets dropped from the matrix display.

Hi There
Thanks for your posting. Are the values inside get summarised? I mean if you two row with the same value inside dataset, would that inside it get summed up
Please reply
Many thanks

Hi WFB,
In a matrix, the row group or column group should not display duplicate fields. Here, please check whether the dataset returns duplicates or not. Besides, I suggest you post screenshots of the report design structure and the report preview for further analysis.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Friday, November 23, 2012 1:25 PMThe row that gets dropped has some values the same, some values different from the row that precedes it. I have tried the matrix with both =Field and =First(Field inset into the boxes.
