SSRS 2008 R2 BIDs doesn't display data in Preview mode

Question

I hope someone has the solution to this issue.  When I click the "Preview" tab to check the results of my report in the development environment (BIDS), the report format is visible, but no data shows up in the fields.  If I export the report to Excel or PDF the data shows up.  If I deploy the report to the Reporting Server the data shows up.  I have set the config file so that data is not cached, but that didn't fix the problem.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Do you see  the columns  AND grid for your records or do not see anything?

Hi - I see the columns and grid just no data in the grid unless I export or deploy the report.
