Hi All,
I have created a "User1" in Active Dir and trying to add "New System Role Assignment" from Site Settings in Report Manager but getting following error.
An error occurred within the report server database. This may be due to a connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database. (rsReportServerDatabaseError) Get Online Help
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote error
I would like to know the exact steps of adding "New System Role assisgnment" and give permissions for few users to access the reports from reportserver.
Could anybody help on this topic? I have gone through and tried with many blogs but didn't succeed.
Regards,
Bheemraj

You have to look at your logs for more details about your issue.
Which version of SQL Server are you using?
Also you may want to check this thread: SSRS 2008: connection failure, timeout or low disk condition within the database. (rsReportServerDatabaseError)

Hi Bheemraj,
From your description, you want to know how to grant user access to the specific reports, right? To make the report server available to other users, you must create role assignments that map user or group accounts to a predefined role that specifies a collection of tasks. For the detail information, please refer to the link below to see the MSDN documents which tell us how to do it steps by steps:
