    Hi All,

I have a ssrs 2005 chart report .  It is running fine and displaying data when i ran it locally on my machine. But when deployed to 2008 server,  chart is  not displaying anything .Below the chart, there are other two tables . The data is displaying for these tables  but not to the chart.

Any help on this would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi There

Have you converted the report in SSRS 2008 format? you need to open the report in BIDS 2008

You have to do this before deploying it to the server because SSRS 2005 and 2008 are completely Separate

    Manu thanks

    Hi There

Please open your report with BIDS 2008 it will ask you that conversion is about to take place make sure that you do have back up copy somewhere in case you need that for some reason.

After converting into SSSR 2008 format you can see view inside BIDS and then try to deploy it on your report server 2008.

If you have any questions please ask.

    Manu thanks

    Hello,

In Reporting Services 2008, it introduces many new features. Here is an article for your reference, please see:
    What's new: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms170438(v=sql.100).aspx

In your case, I suggest you try to redesign the report by using BIDS 2008 and then deploy it to the Report Server to see if this help. In addition, which browser you are using to view the report? Currently, not all report functionality is supported by all browsers. For more information about browser support in Reporting Services, please see:
