Replication

Question

HI ,

I am getting this error when i view the snapshot agent and i can not start it

Could not retrieve agent status. (ExecuteReader requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed. (System.Data))

can you please provide more info as:

What is the sql server (2000/2005/2008 ) and edition?
What type of replication is setup ?
was it working before?
any changes made which caused this?

You might be getting this error because either your network cable is unplugged or your network connection is down.  Verify that you are connected and check to see if you still get the error.

can u check if ur account is not locked or disabled
