SQL Server 2005 Replication and Bandwidth utilization

Question

Hello:

Our first attempt at a company wide sql server replication has failed. We are a globally dispursed company with offices all over the world. Our replication attempt has failed because of too much bandwidth utilization.

We want to give this another shot, but we need to be certain that there is a way for us to "control" (throttle) bandwidth usage of the sql server replication setup.

Any thoughts?

There are very limited options for decreasing the bandwidth utilization. What replicaton type are you using, and can you give us any details of the underlying network fabric, ie pots, satellite, frame, etc.
