I have a webforms (visual studio 2010 based) connected to SQLExpress in my office. The SQLexpress database instance in my office is using SQL Server 2008 full verson. I copied the data to my personal laptop, however since the SQLExpress database instance in my personal laptop is using 2005 express version, it can't open the .mdf and .ldf file when i try to compile the program in visual studio.
Is it possible for me to upgrade the SQLExpress database instance in my personal laptop from 2005 express to 2008 full version? If yes, how? Thanks.

Hi JayNoob,
This is the forum which focus on Master Data Services, is your issue relevant to this? If I understand you correctly, it seems that this is a upgrade issue, could you please post it at this forum http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlsetupandupgrade/threads to receive more specific support.
If I misunderstand you, please feel free to let us know.
Thanks,
