Hierarchy search on left pane kills add/delete functionality on entity (middle pane)

Question

On web UI, when you search explicit hierarchy in left pane for a member and when you click on that member, then it does not allow you to add/delete children under searched hierarchy member. It used to work SQL2008R2 and under 2012-RCs. But it stopped working after upgrading to main 2012 release. Did anyone else have similar issue. Please let me know if there is a way to resolve this. Users rely on this search functionality to add new members.

I confirmed your findings.  It appears that if, once you find the member you are searching on, use the 'Find Parent' one or two times and the add functionality appears.  i'm not sure why but this worked in my test case.

Thanks for responding! I already tried that... add functionality only comes back when you get to the top level of hierarchy...

Without search function, its very hard to find the correct memeber, specially when you have few levels in hierarchy, but tons of members at each level. Hopefully MSFT will fix this soon with patch. Its very difficult to explain it to users, who is using this functionalilty from earlier versions and now its does not work with upgrade!
