Unanswered initialization of the data source failed

    Hi,

    We have a couple of Workbooks where  we get a error 'Initialization of the data source failed' when the user opens the workbook in Excel, if we click OK we come to Excel. We don't get this error when we use the workbook in Sharepoint. All the slicers is working in Excel/Sharepoint, no problems with relations. The datarefresh is working OK. This is quit annoying errormess.

    Any ideas of this behavoir?

    Hi Larra,

    It seems this behavior is relevant to PowerPivot add-in, please have a check to see whether you have the correct version of add-in.

    Hi Challen Fu,

    We have upgraded to version 10.50.2500.0 for the add-in, it's the 64-bit version. We still get the same errormess!

    Any ideas?
