Hi
Our company wants to upgrade existing SQL Server R2 (Not enterprise) installation to the new Denali. We also want to be able to use the new BI tools denali powerpivot brings along on our existing sharepoint 2010 farm.
I assume the above should be OK to handle, BUT will we be able to easily convert to the RTM version of denali when that is released?
After installing Denali i plan to convert all existing PowerPivot workbooks to the new PowerPivot. Will i get any problems when the new RTM of powerpivot arrives?
Hope you understand what im asking for, im the sponsor for the project, not the technical guy, just want to assure that our company doesnt paint itself in a corner by upgrading this early in the Denali development phase..
