what is SharePoint in detail brief and how it can be implement in Reporting services.?

hello 

well i have been researching about the sharepoint and i could not get the brief idea about the sharepoint and its implementation in SSRS or sql server2008 so any one could figure me out whats  sharepoint2010  main function and operation in SQlserver 2008 R2 .

 

i just want to know details about it though i have read a lot of blog regarding this..

SQL Server Reporting Services provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization, as well as programming features that enable you to extend and customize your reporting functionality.

What is SSRS SharePoint integrated mode used for? We can configure a report server to run within a deployment of a SharePoint product and use the collaboration and centralized document management features of SharePoint for reports and other Reporting Services content types. In general word, we can use SharePoint to manage reports in SharePoint.

Thanks Jin for your reply ,

I just want to know the same thing as you mentioned about the SSRS SharePoint integrated mode .Also, i only know about the SSRS , So i really want to know SSRS integration with SharePoint 2010 more details.

Is there any free web-seminar/ video tutorials or any e-books  concerning about this topic and from which we can easily learn from basic. ?

I really want to learn more....so ..!!!
