autoupdate of excel in PowerPivot

i am fetching data from excel file(.xls),which is in sharepoint. but when excel file in sharepoint get updated powerpivot related sheet donot get update after pressing refresh button in powerpivot.
i am also not able to create macro to auto update for same.

Hi,
If you are using Excel 2013 you can automate the refresh with a macro.

Hi ankit28287,
The Excel refresh and the PowerPivot refresh are distinct operations. PowerPivot data refresh is unrelated to the Excel data refresh feature and we cannot refresh PowerPivot data by using the standard data refresh capability in Excel.
