    Hi,

I am trying to configure Excel services in sharepoint2013.

Here are the settings I have already done,

Sharepoint 2013 installation in farm mode, SQL 2012 installed in MDm/Tabular and powerpivot instance.

Powerpivot addin installed for sharepoint 2013. COnfigured the Secure store service to domain account, configured unattended refresh account. COnfigured data model setting for Excel services.

But still I get the below error.

Here is the data model setting under Excel services.

    Hi PravPatri,

This issue occurs because the Analysis Services instance has not been configured in the Central Administration site. Please verify the server is recognized by Excel Services by reviewing entries in the ULS log.

Here is an KB article for your reference, please see:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2769345

For more detail steps about Install Analysis Services Server in SharePoint Mode for SharePoint 2013 (SQL Server 2012 SP1), please see:

    Hi Elvis,

I have made all these changes. You could see the SSAS server configuration in the above post, where I have shared the screen shot.

I am still worrying what would be the cause. I am sure that its gonna be a minor configuration.

Finally I am able to get rid of this error.

The issue was with the different versions of SQL 2012 Sp1. I had installed the version which was first released (Version: 11.0.2100.60), but when I checked the recent patch it is version :11.0.3000.0.

After installing the new patch, everything is working as required.

But in my case there is SQL Server 2008 with SharePoint 2013, is there any solution for this configuration?
