ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

Question

Hi,

I am getting following error if we run the package on server using BIDS 2005. server is 2008 but the package developed using 2005. Its working fine on 2005 server but not on 2008 server(64 Bit).

Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

is the SSIS 2008 version on which u are getting an error. You need to upgrade ur package to 2008 to execute it on 2008 server.

Have you tested after upgrading the package to 2008 or how have to tested?
