    Hello,

I have the Advanced Services edition for SQL Server 2008 Express R2. I like to find the SP2 so I can just update from SP1 to SP2. I see the whole install program is available for the Advanced Services, but wondering where the SP2 is available for this edition?  I just need the SP2.

This is what is currently installed:

    Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (RTM) - 10.50.1600.1 (X64)   Apr  2 2010 15:48:46   Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation  Express Edition with Advanced Services (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1) (Hypervisor)

    Thanks.

    Paul

That thread does not help very much.

I have already SP1 for SQL Server 2008 R2 Express with Advanced Services.

How can I get a hold of SP2 for SQL Server 2008 R2 Express with Advanced Services?

Would any of these SP2 installs work for Advanced Services http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30437?

Hi Paul, yes, you can apply the main SP2 in the link to your instance of 2008 R2 Express w/ Advanced Services at SP1.  Run the installer for the correct architecture (32-bit/X86 or 64-bit/X64).  The instance selection dialog will gray out / disable any instances you have on the box for which the service pack does not apply to prevent you from accidentally patching something with the wrong installer.
