I have downloaded the file SQLEXPRADV_x64_ENU and I am unable to install due to 'corrupt file' message. No further information is provided.

I firstly tried to download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pd/SQLEXPCTAV2/enus/default.aspx

but received this message in reply:

No results found for betaexperience pd DownloadAuthenticationHandler ashx url dl download 8 D D 8DD7BDBA CEF7 4D8E 8C16 D9F69527F909 ENU x64 SQLEXPRADV x64 ENU exe Microsoft CookieId MAC ZfI7LeKXxKPXi8uvm7Ff2ZQriuGyKd2Rmtfl5e0oums.

So, I tried downloading via http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=29062. The file downloaded OK but the 'corrupt file' message appears  and stops at a file called sqlsysclrtypes.msi

I am running a 64-bit PC so believe I have the correct version.

    Can anyone recommend a solution?

    Many thanks

    Hi Call,

SQL Server 2012 Express (64-bits) is supported in Operation System below:
    Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
    Windows 7 SP1
    Windows Server 2008 SP2
    Windows Vista SP2

Please make sure that you apply the Operation System Service Pack.

Download Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=29062.

    Thanks,
    Maggie
