QuestionImport Access DB in SSE 2008

I can import an Access 2000 DB into SQL Server Express 2008 using the Import & Export Data app that comes with the installation. However, it just imports the data, but no primary keys, relationships, etc. Is there a way I can get EVERYTHING from access to import into SSE 2008, if not with this app then perhaps with the SQL Server Management Studio or some other app? Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated. TIA

    Hello

Have you tried the Upsizing Wizard in Access?  Access > Tools > Database Ultilities > Upsizing Wizard.  There are options is import the primary keys, indexes, validation rules and indexes.

    Hope this helps

I couldn't find that in Access 2007, maybe it's a different name/command or under a different area? I should've mentioned that Access says it's Access 2000 format, not actually from Access 2000. I did find the Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant 2008 for Access on Microsoft's site and after installing that and running it, I got an SSE 2008 DB from the Access DB that I was currently using in Access 2007. It didn't import the Access column descriptions, though, but I guess that's OK since I was primarily after the Access primary keys and relationships. Thanks for your response.

    Hello

I don't know how to access the upsizing wizard via the ribbon but the feature is still available in Access 2007.  If you press ALT, T, D, U it will open the Upsizing Wizard.

    Hope this helps
