Errors when installing sql 2k5 express edition

Question

first of all its a really cool and time saving idea to have similar questions pop up right after you finish writing the title. cool script :D
im trying to install sql with advanced settings sp3 file. i got it from ms's site. im running on win7 Ultimate. i installed .net framework 4 beta 1. i enabled/installed IIS. but i keep getting this msg

So what do i do? find a .net framework for 32bit? the sql exe file im installing is 64 and i need 32? or what? plus why does it say REG REQUIREMENT?

I had vs2k8 installed before btw. full installation. then i uninstalled everything myself including the frameworks
So what should i do?

i thought id try sql 2008 while i waited for a reply. i THOUGHT it worked but i dont think it did. i downloaded MS SQL SERVER 2008 FOR DUMMIES and it showed me all sorts of config steps during the installation process that i didnt go through. i got sql 2k8 here http://teamtutorials.com/windows-tutorials/installing-microsoft-sql-2008-express-edition

i clicked on the link they had at the top of hte page and i kept clicking next until the file was downloaded and i installed it. i looked at the page again and waited for the installation process to show me these steps. but nothing. the installation kept going for 10min then it was finished. so i opened the book to start and i saw that i didnt have the amanager tool. so i get it from ms but its confusing cuz its nothing like what the book says

so i ask you TO PLZ give me DIRECT LINKS to
1- .net framework
2- sql 2008


because i septn the entire day doing this. i said earlier that i had vs 2k8 installed along side frameworks 1.1. 2 and 3.5 but i uninstalled these. then i did win update and it iddnt tell me that i needed to download the frameworks. so either this is messed up or i messed it up

SO AGAIN PLZ JUST GIVE ME THE DIRECT LINKS TO THE ABOVE SOFTWARE. i spent half a day going between 2005 2008 and the ms packages. i just want to get started on my work T-T i dont even have that much tables to put in. just one or two. but i need to do these on sql. i want to.

EDIT: i read the link you gave me. the first step is to uninstall reportin gservices. i dont have it. i havent successfuly installed naything on this pc. so i cant uninstall something i dont have. which is why i need direct links. so that i can stop wasting my day looking for stuff
