Can't install SQL Express 2008 x64

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to install SQL Express 2008 from an Advanced Installer installation of our software.

When I run the installation manually the installation is successful, but when run from the installer it always fails. The only difference between the two scinarios is the entry point.

The failure point is ComponentUpdate.

This happens on both Windows 7 x64 and XP x86 using the correct SQL installers.

On x86 file 'dw20shared.msi' fails on x64 file 'dw20sharedamd64.msi' fails!
