Not sure if can post to this forum regarding with the licenses.
As mainstream support of MSSQL2005 is expired, this product has moved to extended support.
Little confused with extended support, do we need to buy for 5 years of extended support from Microsoft ? or we just need to pay for each case only ?

For difference between Mainstream and Extended Support is that you need to purchase an Extended Hotfix Support Agreement for the non-security hotfix who is not the Premier customer.
