I'm not sure I understand the question.  Are you asking what you need to consider when moving a database from one version of SQL Server  to a newer version of SQL Server?    If so, I recommend running Upgrade Advisor against your current database to get a report of potential upgrade issues (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=F5A6C5E9-4CD9-4E42-A21C-7291E7F0F852&displaylang=en)  or review the white paper on upgrading to SQL Server 2008 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=66d3e6f5-6902-4fdd-af75-9975aea5bea7&displaylang=en).

No.. it is not the upgrade. WE are getting a project to be migrated. So we are to ask them some form of tech quesitons elating to database. like.. policy,prcess,bkup retentons.. and so on... so do we have any template or specific Questions that need to be attended...??
