Hi,

Below is  logshipping alert which is failed with below error:

Executed as user: XYZ\PQR. The log shipping primary database INDC-ABC.HouseHolding has backup threshold of 60 minutes and has not performed a backup log operation for 330 minutes. Check agent log and logshipping monitor information. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 14420).  The step failed.

While Backup time is set as 8 hours and alerting is also set as 480 min. if backup not occurs and logshipping is working fine still in Alert above message comes.

Are you using the same account or different account. i am trying to produce the error on my machine.

i can not produce this issue in my environment that means my configurations are correct.check the agent history on both sides, check copy agent history. also check backup agent history.

Do not try to do all from one agent, create job for each.

Make sure agent accounts used have right privileges.

Hi Ajay,

The alert message 14220 indicates that the difference between current time (UTC) and the last_backup_date_utc value in the log_shipping_monitor_primary table on the monitor server is greater than value that is set for the Backup Alert threshold.
