issue on displaying the data in SSRS level

Hi Friends,

I have created two roles A,B  in SSAS level and assigned 5 records to A role and assigned another 5 records to B role.

BUT in SSRS level, when i was pointing to the cube(with A role),it was displaying all the 10 records.But i need only 5 records which belongs to first role.

Can any one tell me how to resolve this issue.

Hi bandlamudi,

Can you please tell how is the row level security is defined in SSAS?  Using MDX ? If so please let us know the MDX. Also is the cube security working in the SSMS or browser in Visual Studio BIDS?
