    Hi,

    Does Windows Server 2012 will give any significant performance boost over Windows Server 2008

    for SSIS (DQS cleanding & other ETL activities) , DQS engines and SQL server?

    Note: its regarding SQL Server 2012

    No, Not especially the OS itself.

    The most common bottleneck with SQL Server features is disk IO. So if you want to compare performance, generally you can use Solid State disk and it will get much faster. You can put tempdb on different drive, and mdf separate from ldf files.
