SQL data mining add on for research

Question

Hi
I'm  doing my masters study in Data mining 
it's supposed to develop my own data mining technique
so how can SQL data mining help me in that ?
how can I add my technique? will it be a Stored Procedure ?
and is there a way to view the source of microsoft techniques ( like Microsoft Decision Trees ) ?
