Effect of changing ownership of database mirroring endpoint

Question

Hi All,

We are unable to delete a login from sql server because it is also owner of database mirroring endpoint.

We are not sure about the effect of transferring the ownership of mirroring endpoint to 'sa' on Database Mirroring session.

Please guide us.

Not dropping endpoint , so should not be aside effect

Their should not be any side effects of changing ownership of mirroring endpints provided new owner has granted connect permissions
