Use "SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration" to add yourself as an administrator on the SQL Server Instance.  In Vista, a Windows admin is not a SQL admin by default - they need to be added.

It is installed as part of the SQL Server Tools.

Please post your message in the "SQL Server Tools General" forum.

Simple, login as administrator for example. drill down to the security folder, right click on Log ins, and add the user u were trying to access with.

logoff, and login with the target user, connect to ur instance using SSMS.... done
