How to check if resource governor is working

Hi all,

I've created two resource pool and one workload group for each. I've written a classifier function and from the activity monitor I see that my incoming sessios are redirected as I expect to the correct worload group.

How can I check that resource governor is limiting resources requests? I've written a "loop" query with the intent of consuming a lot of CPU and while the query is running I try to alter the value of the assigned resource pool but, from the task manager, I do not see any modification in CPU load...

create one query loop that runs for in one group, and one that runs in the other. Under load resource governor will apply the constraints which you can see from perfmon.
