Codename "Data Transfer" Won't Accept # Character in Server Password

Question

Administrator password requirements for SQL Azure server instances require any three of lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and/or symbols. I ordinarily use a # symbol in my database admin passwords.

I'm unable to log in to my database to upload *.csv data because attempts to connect with the pass#1234 style fail. Fiddler2 shows the password is truncated at pass. (This is an example, not  my password.)

This needs fixing, as does forcing me to create a new profile name when I log in to the forum.
