Codename "Data Hub" Security

Sorry, just a pile of questions...

How will security function within Data Hubs? Is there going to be support for securing individual Offering objects? Do the Azure Marketplace federated Offerings have differing security Offerings that have Azure DB sources? i.e. the Azure Marketplace data items are open for all but when the source is an Azure DB there is the potential for some form of passthrough auth back to the Azure DB? Granted passthrough auth may be a bit much initially but is there at least the possibility to secure at the Offering level?

Now that I think about it, is it more likely that we would simply create more hubs? If we create more hubs how are these secured (outside of IP address filtering)?

Hello Nick, we are currently working on defining and designing the authentication and authorization models. We should have made some progress before our next update, when we will be ready to show some of that.

Please do write down what you think your requirements will be, and we will collect that feedback after everyone has had some time to evaluate the labs release.
