Excel 2010 to read a SSAS tabular data structure

Hi,
I need to know if it is possible to publish to SharePoint Server 2010 and use an Excel 2010 workbook (not PowerPivot workbook) that queries a SSAS tabular data structure.

Thursday, July 26, 2012 12:04 AMYes - it's possible. You can connect to SSAS tabular similar to how you connect SSAS OLAP via excel.

Can I use Excel 2007 to connect to a SSAS tabular?

Hi pscorca,
We can connect to tabular model databases from Excel2010, the Excel 2007 doesnot suppprt connect to tabular model databases. Here are some articles for your reference, please see:
