Internal error processing partition in SSAS 2012

Hi all,

I have a strange internal error when processing a partition in SSAS 2012.  Have tried multiple times and also tried deleting and recreating the partition to no avail:

Internal error: An unexpected error occurred (file 'mdddecoder.cpp', line 1283, function 'MDDataDecoder::Init').

Doesn't really provide me with much information, without the obvious mdddecoder.cpp file in front of me.  Can anyone from Microsoft suggest what the issue is and how I can work around it?

Hi Adam,

You can try to install Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2012 in your test environment to see if this help. For more information, please see:

In addition, I would suggest opening a case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) (http://support.microsoft.com), so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist you in a more efficient manner.
