Question about Cube dimension

Hi,

I have a question about Cube dimension. Can a dimension be built based on the existing dimension? For example, I have five dimensions: date, type, provider, page, language. Can I build a dimension x using the values in the existing dimensions? Say, i want a dimension x having:

1, type = 1 or type = 2

2, type = 3 or type = 4

....

If yes, How to do this? THanks!

I am afraid it cannot, I suggest you can create the new dimension based on tables, for more information about create dimension, please refer to:
