ModeTransformation example

Question

I am not familiar with the concept of ModeTransformation.  Can you give an example, or point me to an existing example?

I'd feel it's an equivelant of declaring a mode variable with several modes and then change the mode during actions. Using ModeTransformation will save your time to implement this state variable.
