Alien Barrage Game

Question

A space invaders type game http://smallbasic.com/program/?FPW864.  As usual it works best run locally.  The File commands to store and retrieve a high score need to be un-commented.

The laser thing and the invincibility were interesting.

Wow! That's an intense and fun game!

I love how you lose a point each time you fire and all the crazy power ups and how levels start in intense ways. Got to Level 5, high score 692.

It's much closer to 1942 than Space Invaders. Needs a new name!

Another interesting thing I got from the code is that it potentially has infinite number of levels which keep getting harder and harder.

My high score is 2830 and small update to make the invincibility easier to see while playing, import GFR568.

I like Alien Barrage as a name.

This version is just the same but has a web based high score (needs LitDev extension version 1.0.0.40+) HKM280.
