    HI,

    Iam Dileep, Iam a beginer to sqlserver and self learner.

    can you please help me how to install sqlserver 2008 on windows home edition.

    Hi dileep1911,

    What version of SQL Server 2008 do you want to install? And what version of Windows Operating System are you using? Before install SQL Server 2008, there are some hardware and software requirements should be met. For more details, please refer to this article: Hardware and Software Requirements for Installing SQL Server 2008.

    To install SQL Server 2008, you can follow this article step by step: How to: Install SQL Server 2008 (Setup).

    If you encounter any problems during the installation, please provide the SQL error log for further troubleshooting.
