Code my own picker

Question

hello, what i am wishing to accomplish is to code my own picker which will look like a datepicker or numberpicker but to have my own contents in it....the main example is when a user navigates to my track progress page they can choose lets say a body part that they worked on that particular day, the body part being either chest, shoulders, back, arms, abs....is this at all possible?

ok so i know this is possible now but i have zero idea how i can take the selected value of a loopingselector to a textblock
