Hi,
I'm trying to profile Silverlight 4 application using xperf. I followed steps on http://blogs.msdn.com/b/slperf/archive/2010/08/19/analyzing-silverlight-memory-usage-part-1-obtaining-measurements.aspx but I can't see any debug information on Silverlight dlls (agcore.dll, npctrl.dll...).
It looks like there are no debug symbols on MS Symbol server (http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols). for latest Silverlight runtime (4.0.51204.0) Can you please tell me when theese debug symbols will be available? Or where can I download theese files?
Thanks,
Marek

I'm struggling to get the correct symbols loaded also. Did you find a fix? Any MSFT'ers that can advise?

I just spoke to the man in charge, apparently the symbols for this build hadn't been posted yet. I've been informed that they'll be posted within a few days, sorry for the confusion.

Thats good to hear.
- Will the symbols also be posted for the new 4.0.60129.0 GDR?
- Is there a mailing list or notification process so we can find out when this has been done?
Thanks, Mark

The symbols for 4.0.60129.0 will be posted as well. There isn't a mailing list or notification process around the availability of symbols, but in general you should expect the symbols to be posted shortly after each release.
