Problems with VS2010 and Silverlight 5 SDK

Hi,

I have VS2010 and SL 5 tools and SDK, on Win7 x64.
The problem is that I get this error message whenever I open a XAML file:

System.NotSupportedException

Could not find Microsoft Silverlight SDK v5.0. Please make sure that the correct version of the Microsoft Silverlight SDK has been installed.

I've tried to re-install VS and the SDK over and over, but nothing works.

I also tried all the tricks and after unistalling all that had silverlight in the name I still had the same error !! very anoying! 

but then, what I did and apparently solved the problem!

I closed VS2010 and executed this command (I read in some other thread related to SL3) in the c:\windows\system32 prompt:

secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose

after this I relauched VS2010, voilá! the error was gone!

since last few weeks I am fighting with VS2010 to launch some silverlight templates... and I got all possible errors... including the one about missing silverlight 5 sdk... seems they letting write too much code newbies and interns....

this all "tools" are just a joke, vs2010, silverlight tools....... recently I was fighting with this problem few weeks till I solved it by reinstalling all silverlight components and now after several days its again the same crap... did microsoft reallt tested this software?

just congratulations to microsoft for amazing software...... and of course they have no idea how to fix it since last... few years.. since the same problem was with sdk 3......
