SharePoint Workflow History Lists - Are "New History Lists" removed as well as the System History List?

Question

I understand that the Workflow History lists are removed from the Workflow status view 60 days post completion in SharePoint and are only available by accessing the hidden "Workflow History" list.  Are workflow histories that utilize the "New" history lists removed as well as the system Workflow History list?  (in other words, if I create a New History List each time a workflow is built, will this history also be removed 60 days after the completion of each workflow?)  I've googled this and searched many different forums, but can't find information that specifically addresses if a New History List is used.
I'm on MOSS 2007.

Emby,
All history items; the one's in Workflow History or any other history lists will be removed after 60 days (for performance reasons) by the Workflow Auto Cleanup timer job
