Error copying list item(custom list) SPD workflow

Question

Issue: I have 2 custom lists Primary(Tickets) Secondary(Tickets Closed) I have been asked to have the list items that are done being worked on to be copied to "Tickets closed". This currently is done by running a loop on every item in the list(not to big so its safe) to trigger a workflow which compares a value set in a control list. Based on the value compared it is then suppposed to copy this item to "tickets closed", Tickets closed is a duplicate of Tickets created by a Template. Everything on my workflow works fine but from what i have found there seems to be a issue copying from custom lists. I get error "Error copying a list item" and this ends my workflow. I have this similar setup on my test box, however this was a announcment list and this works flawlessly. I have searched the internet for a solution and cant seem to find a solid answer; so thus im here. If anyone can offeer some insight, link to code or a suiggestion let me know.

Update:i cant even copy data from this list to itself.
