How to get all documents from user's deleted MySite or restore MySite

Question

Hi All,

By mistake user deleted his mySite permanently, is it any way to restore
the same, as there are very important douments inside mySite.

Some how We got content database of that site collection and attached
with new site collection but the site is totally blank.

Is it any way to restore the deleted my site again or atleast we can get all documents which was there in user's mySite.

Kinldy help me on this regard....

NEVER post the same question in two (or more forums). It wastes everyone's time.

I've deleted the copy in Setup/Admin. This is the place for MySite questions so I left this copy. This time.

How did you attach the content database? Maybe you should delete the original content db in the testing environment before attaching the recovered content db.

some sharepoint partners offer software for selective restore from SQL backups. you could try a free trial and see if it works for you.

I've been mentioning partners too much lately--a quick search will find them.

I suggest you restore the whole database if you're having these issues.
